Grab your rod and head to the water. Reel Catch is a relaxing but tense fishing game: hold to charge your cast, drop the float where you want it, watch it bob and strike the moment it sinks.

Then the fight begins. Hold REEL to pull the fish in, but keep the tension in the green zone: pull too hard and the line snaps, give too much slack and the fish shakes off the hook. Big fish run, leap and thrash, and bosses fight back hard.

Fish from a harbour pier to a pine lake, a coral lagoon, the open sea and a deep abyss trench. Each spot has its own baits and lures, rare fish, golden variants and a boss. Sell your catch at the market, upgrade your rod, reel, line, hook, cooler and boat, and complete the fish book.

How to play

1. Hold the round CAST button: the power bar fills and empties. Drag sideways to aim and release in the yellow zone.
2. Watch the float. Small nibbles are not a bite; when it sinks, tap HOOK quickly.
3. Hold REEL to pull the fish in and keep the tension needle in the green zone. Let go when it climbs into yellow or red.
4. When the fish is tired it stops fighting: reel it in fast and see your catch card.
5. Sell fish at the Market, buy better baits and upgrade your gear in the Shop to reach new spots.

Tips & tricks

• A perfect cast makes fish bite sooner, and a better rod casts farther and speeds up bites too.
• Expensive lures catch more valuable fish but can be used up on a catch; the free bait never runs out.
• Bosses thrash in short violent bursts: let go of REEL when the needle jumps or the line will snap.
• Upgrade the Line before you try a boss lure and the Hook to tire fish faster.
• Check the Market for the fish of the day: it sells for 50 % more.
